AC Milan and Chelsea agree to €2m total fee for Giroud deal

All eyes have been on Euro 2020 this week as Italy and England have qualified for a mouth-watering final at Wembley on Sunday evening.

With the tournament drawing to a conclusion and with the Premier League kicking off in little over five weeks, it is no surprise that clubs are now attempting to accelerate their transfer activity.

Lionel Messi has been out of contract at Barcelona for over a week and La Liga have now confirmed they will make no exceptions to allow him to register before a huge player sale is conducted at the Camp Nou - which may put notable clubs across Europe on alert.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are said to be hopeful of signing ex-Arsenal forward Donyell Malen while Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is closing in on a move to Italy.
