Shock As Star Of Reality Dating Show "The Bachelor" Reveals He Is Gay

 The Bachelor star Colton Underwood has come out as gay on today’s Good Morning America. 

In a segment titled, Colton Underwood: In His Own Words, the former NFL player spoke candidly to veteran anchor Robin Roberts about his sexuality. 

Robin could be seen asking: ‘There is something that you want people to know, so can you tell us what is on your heart that you want to share?’ Colton replied: ‘Obviously this year has been a lot for a lot of people. 

It’s probably made a lot of people look themselves in the mirror and see who they are and what they are running from and what they’ve been putting off in their lives.’ 

The reality star continued: ‘For me, I’ve ran from myself for a long time. I’ve hated myself for a long time. I’m gay. 

‘I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it. 

The next step in all of this was letting people know.’ 

The star first joined Bachelor Nation during Becca Kufrin’s Bachelorette season in 2018, making it to her final four. 

He then had a fling with Tia Woods on the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise before being picked to lead season 23 of The Bachelor.
