"Hardest Jam Abeg" - Wizkid Bursts With Praise For Patoranking's "Abule"

Ayodeji Balogun, Nigerian Afropop singer better known as Wizkid, has described ‘Abule‘, a hit song by Patoranking, as his “hardest jam.”

The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner took to his social media page on Thursday night to commend the project, which was released in July.

“Patoranking ‘Abule’! hardest jam Abeg! hardest!!,” he wrote on Twitter.

‘Abule’ — which in English means rural area — is a track off ‘Three‘, Patoranking’s 2020 album. The less than four-minute song sees Patoranking crooning about his days in the hood and the excitement that comes with being in the company of friends.

Citing his experience at Ebutte Meta, a suburb in Lagos, the ‘Girlie O’ singer described the rural area as a setting for unique moments laced with different interesting happenings.

“This is another story from our abule. Make l tell you wetin happened for our abule. There was this big party for inside our abule, l went there, l went there with my best friend Kunle, Kunle dey there with his girlfriend Sile… everything dey, we were just having fun…,” he could be heard singing.

With strings of beautiful offerings, awards and collaborations, both Wizkid and Patoranking have established themselves as household names in the Nigerian music industry.

The ‘Joro’ singer had in October released ‘Made in Lagos‘, his 14-track album, after teasing the project for about two years.
