Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul: Undefeated Legend to take on Youtuber on February 20
Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring in February to fight YouTube personality Logan Paul.
The 43-year-old Mayweather announced the fight, which will take place on 20 February, in an Instagram post on Sunday. Although the 25-year-old Paul has nearly two decades on his opponent, he is unlikely to trouble a man who retired from professional boxing undefeated with a 50-0 record.
Mayweather was involved in an exhibition match in December 2018 against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa where he made $9million for just 139 seconds of work.
It was gathered that the early pricing is at $24.99 (£18.62) for the first million tickets sold before it rises to $39.99 (£29.80), and then to $59.99 (£44.71) starting December 29.
It will then increase to $69.99 (£52.16) for the final days of build-up, starting February 11.
Anticipating a possible fight, Paul who recently turned a professional in boxing had referred to Mayweather as an illiterate.
He said: "At first I thought you didn't sign it because you didn't want one punch to ruin your legacy.
"But now I feel like maybe you didn't sign it because you don't know how to spell your name.
"Don't worry, champ, I've got you - check this out. I made you a cheat sheet."
