LeBron James, Anthony Davis lead Lakers to bounce-back win over Rockets in Game 2

The Los Angeles Lakers finished with a 117-109 win over the Houston Rockets in Game 2 to tie their second-round playoff series at 1-1 by relying on a simple formula: Depend on their star players.


Anthony Davis finished with 34 points on 15-of-24 shooting and 10 rebounds. LeBron James added 28 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.

The Lakers limited the Rockets to 17 points in the fourth quarter to secure the win after coughing up a 16-point halftime lead. Los Angeles led 67-51 at the break before Houston scored 41 points in the third quarter to take a two-point lead into the final frame.

James Harden led the Rockets with 27 points as Houston shot 22-of-53 from 3-point range. Eric Gordon added 24 points and P.J. Tucker had 18, but Russell Westbrook struggled and shot 4-of-15 from the field for 10 points.
