Shouting Match Ensues As Amaechi Face-Off With Reps Over Chinese Loans

The loans Nigeria in the past months have received from China has caused a lot of debate after it was discovered by the House of Representatives that a clause in the loan agreements cedes Nigeria's Sovereignty to China.

Transport minister, Rotimi Amaechi has since then serially warned the Reps committee against digging too deep into the nuances of the agreement and is quoted tohave said that "if China wants to become the President of Nigeria, I can be their deputy".

Facing the Reps Committee today led by Nicholas Ossai, Amaechi resulted to having a shouting match with the Chairman.
