Goodluck Jonathan Under Heavy Fire As Influencer Who Spent 90 Days In Prison Over Parody Account Shares Horrible Experience

The Twitter user who spent 90 days in police custody for creating a parody twitter account of former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has shared his experience.

Shola who was arrested sometime in May detailed the horrific experience in the hands of law enforcement in a lengthy twitter thread that is just heartbreaking.

Shola narrated how his phone service provider gave out his details to authorities without his consent and the journey from Ogbomosho to Abuja, sharing space with hardened criminals, the trauma of the whole experience, etc.

See thread below:

Reacting to this however, many Nigerians have slammed Gooduck Jonathan for not respecting the rule of law by keeping the boy incarcerated with violent criminals for months.

While others have berated Shola insulting Patience Jonathan the majority of people still believe that no matter the alleged crime committed, the police had no right to remand him in prison.
